Thank you for choosing my website to learn about piano lessons. I am Lory Peters, a private piano teacher, teaching students of all ages and levels in a large, comfortable studio in the Scottsdale Airpark.

Lory Peters Learning to play the piano is very rewarding. While it requires work, the piano gives back so much more in terms of enjoyment, achievement, and increased self-esteem. And making your own music is simply one of the great pleasures of life!

At my teaching studio you'll find a wide variety of children and adults taking piano lessons. For kids, music is an essential part of a complete educational experience. Parents know that piano training, in particular, disciplines the child's mind and helps in other academic areas, such as math and science. For adults, piano lessons are an important part of their lifetime learning goals. Both working and retired, my adult students find the piano a welcome change from the stress of daily life. Some took lessons earlier in life and decided to return to music. Others have decided that now is the time to take up piano studies, even without any previous music training. In either case, adult students find piano studies challenging and rewarding. Many adults even find piano playing therapeutic and helpful in maintaining sharp cognitive skills.
